Specifying furniture finishes that work together across an entire facility can be a challenge—especially when you’re trying to balance warmth, durability, and design flexibility. OFS has just made that task easier with the introduction of 11 new finish options: four real wood veneers and seven FENIX laminate colors.

The expansion responds to a growing request from designers for materials that feel distinctive yet cohesive, allowing for more personal and intentional spaces that reflect the people who use them.
Four New Veneers for Natural Warmth
OFS introduces four new veneer finishes that bring the character and movement of real wood into commercial settings:
- Twig
- Saddle
- Chestnut
- Timber
These veneers were thoughtfully designed to correspond with laminate colors introduced two years ago, making it easier to carry a unified palette across different product lines and surfaces. The natural grain and variation in each piece ensure that no two surfaces look exactly alike, adding visual interest without sacrificing continuity.
All four veneers are protected with OFS Euroluxe™ finish, which enhances the richness and clarity of the wood grain while providing resistance to wear, moisture, and common cleaning chemicals—important considerations for high-traffic environments in healthcare, education, and office settings.
Seven New FENIX Laminate Colors
Alongside the wood options, OFS and Carolina add seven new FENIX high-pressure laminate finishes that expand your color range from warm neutrals to cool, organic tones:
- Earl Grey
- Concrete Taupe
- Infinite Black
- Woodland Green
- Cashmere Beige
- Imperial Blue
- Alpine White
These laminates combine an ultra-matte appearance and soft-touch feel with the durability commercial environments demand. The result is a palette that supports tonal combinations, subtle contrasts, or bolder pairings when layered with textiles, metals, and wood.
Design with Greater Intention
According to Andrea Ecret, Senior Director of Brand and Product Marketing at OFS, “Designers are asking for more material choices that feel distinctive while still working together across an entire environment. This expansion responds to that need by introducing new wood expressions alongside a wider color palette, helping designers create spaces that feel more personal, intentional, and connected to the people who use them.”
Whether you’re refreshing a single conference room or outfitting an entire campus, these new finishes give you the flexibility to build environments that are both functional and expressive.
